About Mani

DSCF5619.JPG

Born 1985 in France, Mani live and work in Lyon.

As a child of the 80’s generation, Mani began to draw in his shoolbooks, the head full of science-fiction films and video games. For more than 10 years, he has enjoyed deploying a whole complex and minimal imagination through a meticulous mastery of the ballpoint pen.

After many group exhibitions in gallery from Paris to London and in various European Art Fairs, Mani offerd a first major Solo Exhibition in 2019 in Lyon (FR) where he explored our perception of the void, in all its forms.

His attraction to street art led him to extend his work on a larger scale. Always self-taught, now using dry indian ink with a brush, it allows us to identify ourselves in its playful immersive scenes populated by singular creatures.

Always in search of balance, his explorations brought him from wall painting and paste up in the streets until a first Parisian exhibition in 2020.

Mani is now drawing also on the skin with a new string to his bow : the tattoo.
